| There are a few people who have problems using Teamspeak for voice chat in game and even out of it. There was a discussion going on another thread that got off topic so I am starting this thread. I know there are a few people for sure who have problems with TS in game and a few with it out of game but also there are a few people that are hard to hear on TS including me when I never even change any settings for my mic. I think we should use GSC for the individual volume controls and also the neat in-game features and the fact that our messaging and voice chat would then be all in one service instead of Xfire and TS. The in-game features I like about GSC include the ability to see what user is speaking at times with a little indicator showing their name. I like other features but my two favorite are individual volume control and current person talking notifications.

| xfire or GSC GSC has so many more features and better quality than ts and xfire has amazing quality so either of those 2

| GSC all the way, from what the little I've used it, I loved it. I just had one problem and that was for some reason, i couldn't get the txt chat thingy to work. But still, it's A TON better than TS. The only thing that hinders me from suggestion TS is that ShaunY bought the TS server.....

| i vote TS cause not every1 has GSC and i don't wanna make every1 get it, plus TS is popular and most of the clans out there use it, the ppl who use GSC are known to be "noob" clans, who wont try to get something professional, plus most of te time, something thats paid for is better than something thats received for free.

| This time I have to disagree with you Neon. Download GSC and try it with us sometime. Blindfold and Deathdealer and myself talk about how much more it has then TS also Neon when it comes to computer software it doesn't always mean better. Look at virus protection software and even photo editing. GIMP is just as good as $700 Photoshop and its free. I tend to believe that software is actually better free it just doesn't combine more then 1 feature. Like AVG has a free virus protection but they also have one you can pay for that does like firewall and adware/spyware protection but I can just go download spybot or adaware and do the same thing. I mean also look at Linux. Technically it is the best OS out there but doesn't have the support. People can we at least try something else? I actually heard DPN today on GSC IN GAME and that's like a first and I have been in this clan for months. I think sticking with something because you don't want to have everyone have to get it isn't the best choice when we have a few if not a lot of people who hgave trouble hearing on TS or even getting their mic to work. To me GSC is way more full featured then Teamspeak and I encourage everyone to try it before knocking it. my GSC user name is edrompa. Added (2009-September-21, 10:37:26 Pm)

| i used to use it full time for my old clan, that was for BF2 and COD4, we liked it, and i know its awesome but i think TS is better.

| Why do you think it is better Neon? And SMGD are you disagreeing with me about GIMP vs PS? I will agree there are more features for PS just because there are more third party add ons also there is more support for PS then GIMP but both jsut under the hood are really full featured.
